F.A.Q.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.

Q. I've been told once you clean your carpets, they become dirty quickly afterwards?

This is probably the most commonly asked question, and is certainly true if the wrong chemicals or untrained staff have cleaned your carpet.

The reason being, a sticky residue is left in the fibbers of the carpet.. This residue will attract dirt at an alarming rate.

Your qualified professionals will check the pH and neutralise your carpet, therefore leaving no sticky residue and leave it looking at it's best.

Q. How often should I clean my carpets?

There are two main answers to this question, and they are as follows;

Looking Dirty.     Dirt is an abrasive, like sandpaper, every time you step on your carpet you cause a grinding effect, this in time damages the fibres.(Imagine putting a sheet of sandpaper between the palms of your hand and rub continuously)

A dirty carpet will not last as long as a clean carpet, for this reason I recommend professional "Deep Cleaning" every 12 months.

Health Reasons.    As you probably know, outdoor air contains pollens, fungus, bacteria, air pollution, cigarette smoke, car exhaust fumes and hundreds of other chemicals. When you come into your home you carry these pollutants in your hair on your skin, clothing and shoes. Not surprisingly all of thos chemicals wind up in your carpet.

If you have allergies, asthma emphysema or other breathing problems, one major source of the problem could be the chemicals or dust mites in your carpet.

For this reason I recommend "Deep Cleaning" to reduce these pollutants every                6 - 12 months.
